actually my browser dosent add .com to numbers it seems, only letters get ".com" added when I hit enter without typing an extension
easy way to browse one word domains
but looks like it dosen't work for strictly numbers
maybe it should be a suggestion for mozilla

I can do that with two fingers, one swipe on my keypad.
I can get to that site faster than almost any other domain.
The only faster domain I know of it x or z.
Do you use the numbers above the other keys, or those off to the right?
Try with the keypad over there and see how easy it is.

I'm looking at this from the perspective of the majority (of which we are not). Having seen my parents, friends, coworkers struggle with the numbers on top (and hardly any of them use the numpad), I say that number domains are not that great. On top of that, considering that numbers are hard to remember (was it 416.com or 516.com? dammit!) that is another strike against them.

the bulk of the value of a nnn.com id from its rarity and shortness, so the fact that theres only 1000 alone makes it worth 1-2k, then we move on to meaning, roads, cop codes, areacodes, etc, and in your case i think the double 8s and double 5s may ad a lil value, i stick with my appriasal of 14k for all 4~5k each.

lots of comments so far, thought id post my views again and more indepth

Tell Y N63.com is so high price now?
Because 163 is a special number in CHinaTelecom. And then some one want 263,363,....Maybe they have a bit higher price than so so domains( mean noghing domains)
If not,really soso domains.Reasonable price $2000
Thanks.

163 is a special number ??
why I don't know??I am a Chinese.......
the most valauble 3 number is ...168
163.com-->only a web site popular in China......

881.com....sound like "bye bye" in Chinese......
955 and 985 are also not bad.......
hold it if you don't need cash....
if you want to sell it......the reasonable price for a not bad number( including these three).......it would be about $5000 for each.......

Numbers are hard to remember? How about 911, 411, 69, 666? If I told you my website was 911.com do you think you could remember that? Consider that every country on earth has a handful of easy to remember 3 digit numbers, and you see that almost all of them have special value to somebody.

And what if you were one of the 1/2 of the world's population with non-latin alphabet? Which do you think would be easier to remember, 3 random unrecognizable characters or 3 numbers?

In the reseller market a name is valuable not because it has value to you, but becuase it has value to lots of potential buyers. That is the case with short numeric names.

1-2k each. 955.com may be worth a little over.

I suggest selling all but 881.com and turning that into a search engine, faking a relationship with Google, and then going public on the U.S. Stock Market. :cheeky: Nah, sell them all.

no~~I am in Taiwan....
but you can check on eachnic.com-->maybe the biggest domain forum in China...I know little about it??haha....do you know we always talk about domain by "QQ"....do you know what it is???
881.com 955.com 985.com the number is above the average number level....
the most valuable is 168...not 163...163.com only because it have a web site.
if 168.com....it is more valuable even it don't have a web site.......

if 4uq.com want to sell it for 2k....I want buy one........

911 because of emergency services, 411 for information, 69 for its sexual connection, and 666 for the devil. They are part of everyday life (you see 911 and 411 everywhere) or popular culture (69 and 666). Can you tell me what 881, 955, and/or 985 mean? Do they have any significant meaning to you? Comparing 911.com to 955.com is like comparing Diamond.com to GlitteringHardRock.com

Someone point out some NNN.com sales for me please that were recent. I know there is one at $1200 via this forum w/ the .org included but in 2003 they were selling for sub $500 here. I went through 40 pages of afternic sales and there wasn't a single NNN that sold there.

I see a lot of hype here, especially from my chinese contacts telling me NNN.com = $10k+ there. I'm buying certain NNN and through my contacts I can resell them for about $1-3k. They go right into the hands of other Chinese resellers but whether they get one of those big $10k sales, I doubt it.

My thoughts are that China's got their own bubble building. If you can get $xxxx for the domains my advice for you is to go for it. Either that or if you don't need the cash then hold out and see if someone from Asia contacts you.

I am going to disagree.

How many sites do you know, off the top of your head, that are a three number site?

Hrmm .... none.

If you had something like 888.com sure that would fetch $xx,xxx+, but, imo, 955, 881, etc are maxing out at $x,xxx

If you had 888.com, $xx,xxx would be your daily entertainment budget. Have you visited it? It is a huge lucky number in Chinese also.

The three domains under appraisal: $5,000 each IMHO. Maybe more for 955.com.

Going back to my original argument again - 888.com is a very well known number. Even 877 or 866. They are known to most everyone who does business.

being one of the rarest domains on the internet and .com and having some repeating numbers they are all at least 5k each and more likely if you wait longer you can pull 7-10k each...I had 323.org,787.org and 878.org and they sold for low $x,xxx each...3 number domains are inherently valuable and tied into the future ability to access websites from a numerical phone keypad on web enabled cellphone dial pads...these may very well spell something or be acronyms..check it out if you want..I cant find my cellphone..lol

DONT TAKE LESS THAN 10-15k for the three as a group....or you are losing money

A domain is worth only as much as someone is willing to pay. Unless are you willing to pay $4000 per each domain right now, your opinion is as valuable as mine.

This domains will only increase in value. We are speculators, and you are welcome to have your own opinion. ;)

Remember, there are only 999 domains here, versus the 17,000 3 letter combos.

Numbers are brandable if you wish to meet a worldwide audience like 1 or 9 but in arabic language 8 is different,i personally think the most valuble numbers are the ones what mean something in every language and that does not include the likes of 8,3 and some others but i know 1 is the one.
If someone says its worth 1k respect their comments same goes for 10k,there are many domains on here what get appraised for crazy money then i see them trying to sell the domain for that sort of price but guess what no takers ! so the moral of the story is they are only worth what someone is willing to pay.
