$0.99 compared to $8,300. Good one.

I don't think the $8,300 bid paid for the domain.

Hey it worth something tho as most people sell on ebay starting at 99 cents i really like it. I will say it worth somewhere between ($10-$500) is my guess!

If you want to sell it for $10 PM me thanks :-D

there is a large publicly traded company by the name "99 cents only"

their current website is at 99only.com.

99cents.com would probably be worth a great deal to them.

They are a very financially sound company. And, image is very important to the company and Mr. Gold (major stockholder).

I use to do business with them in Calif.

When, I first saw the domain. I thought for sure it was theres.

Furthermore, you could make a case that the management has a a fiducary obligation to protect the company name. So, they could throw a lot of legal problems at the new owner.

Therefore, the name isn't worth $ 0.99 to me.

99¢ Only Stores is a unique deep-discount retailer of primarily name-brand consumable general merchandise at an affordable, single-price point. From its first store opening in 1982, the Company's chain of 99¢ Only Stores has expanded to over 164 stores as of June 30 2003, all located in Southern and Central California as well as Nevada, Arizona and Texas. The Company believes it is the oldest single-price retail chain in the country. The Company's stores are attractively merchandised, clean, full service "destination" locations that offer customers significant value on their everyday household needs in an exciting shopping environment. Sales per average 99¢ Only stores in 2002 were 4.8 million with sales per sellable foot of $309. New store return on investment is approximatly 99%. Merchandise encompasses a wide array of name-brand closeout and regularly available consumable products including food and beverages, health and beauty aids, and household supplies.

Yes they are bif but they call tehmseld 99only.com 99 (cent symbol) only store so i not think it will be to much of a bother but i bet they have lots of extra money to buy this domain! LOL maybe cntact them look at thre stie ww.99only.com

No, they payed. If you look at Order History, it says "Auction Completed" and the final bid was $8,300 by "bum". Before it said "Payment Pending", maybe that's why you thought that they didn't pay.

You're crazy! The domain is perfect for any store, particularly 99 cents stores. Its easy to develop, and I think the buyer has plans to use the domain rather than reselling.

Yes i agree, This name can also be used as a ebay related site for beginners to explain to them how wise it is to start there ebay listing at 99 cents as every item i sold i started at 99 cents and i got more at the ending then when i was expecting 8-)
