What do you guys think of ku.com?

Obviously immediate value as a two letter .com (also a word in two languages - english and japanese), but a quick look about also shows;
- 545 overture with extension.
- nice pronouncable word ('coo').
- means 'nine' in japanese (i think ??).
- in english it means 'a radioactive transuranic element which has been synthesized ' (NOT JUST AN ACRONYM).
- ku.net is a very popular japanese (i think) site with a 5k alexa rating.
- ku is the abbrevation for Kuwait.

Thanks,
John

Thanks,

I only found out about a lot of the uses of the word after I bought it. I think the fact that it is nine in japanese is a big benefit. Are number domains popular there as well as in china? Anyone know if nine is a 'good' number?

NT, yeah, I'm hoping It'll get loads of subdomain traffic from ku.net.

Also, should get a load of traffic from uk.com site typos!

Does sedo do subdomains?

Yes, number nine is a nice number in Chinese just next to eight I think, it is usually referred to "long term" or "long time". But "ku" is not what the Chinese "nine" is pronounced.

It is a very good 2 letter .com, congrats.

Very nice..

As for Sedo, just redirect 404 traffic (ie; people hitting non-existent sub-domains) to the root index file & then redirect people hitting the root index file to sedo. :-D
