Awesome is the word.

Thanks for the info !!!

Looks like another reverse hijack attempt by a big corporation. Frivolous.
Well done.

The panel apparently prefers Prada.

So there are still, real genuine people that support the smaller fish left in the world.... :greenwink:

LV Hmmmmm.....

Next it will be Louis Vuitton verus the country of Latvia.... wonder who has been using LV longer.... :frog:

Good job John!

Louis Vuitton is actually owned by a French company called "LVMH", they own marks like "Louis Vuitton", Kenzo, Hennessy, Christian Dior, Celine, Dom Perignon and MOET (Champagne), Fendi, Marc Jacobs and like 50 other rich and expensive brands of Wines, Spirits, Perfume and Clothes.

And they can be found at www.LVmh.com

I guess LVMH stands for "Louis - Vuitton - Moet - Hennessy". They probably thought that their so big and powerfull with these brands and all that LOUIS VUITTON should have by GOD'S RIGHT LV.com.
Who is thiiiis weeee little domain owner--- while we are the LVMH!

Why in the world would they want LV.com when they already have LVmh.com???????? :croc: :twitch:

Good job!!!!!!! :ok:

Good job John!

It's actually Brett Lewis who handled this one. Good job, Brett. :-D

Too bad a reverse domain hijacking ruling wasn't found. But things turned out
"fair" anyhow.

Why in the world would they want LV.com when they already have LVmh.com???????? :croc: :twitch:

Good job!!!!!!! :ok:

They use the LV monogram to brand Louis Vuitton...

The case was handled by board member Brett Lewis, not me.

But I gather you were congratulating me on figuring out how to use an animated smiley.

Brett has also written some good stuff for DNJournal:

Thanks for the correction and I apologise for any confusion caused! But you also did a good job to help a client win a WIPO decision about WWF.com! Congratulations to Brett Lewis!

We felt a responsibility with this one not only to our client but to the entire community to make sure it went the right way. If you look at the facts, it really was stunning what the other side was arguing. Then again, we were wary about trusting the UDRP process, given its unpredictability, so filed the DJ action in court and asked the Panel to defer to the court's jurisdiction. So what do they do? The Panel rejects our request, without explanation, and issues its own decision. Please don't get me wrong, I love the decision, but even in what should have been a simple act of deferring to the courts on a matter that the courts have been held to possess the ultimate authority, the Panel bucked the trend and decided the case, itself.

It is a reminder that in all matters UDRP, the Panel retains the ultimate discretion to decide, and panels will exercise that discretion in ways that are not always predictable.

But I gather you were congratulating me on figuring out how to use an animated smiley.

Not sure the smiley you chose was appropriate for Brett if his pic at DNJ still
reflects such. :-D
