I just picked up CatShows.net and CatShows.org. Good idea? Bad idea?

I'm not really up on cat show knowledge, but I think they have potential.

I was thinking of making a directory of Cat Shows, their websites, region, rules & regulations.

I'm just trying to think how I could generate revenue with it...:sigh:

Sounds good. You can sell adspace for the various shows and a paid classifieds for people selling cats and stuff

CatShows.Net - The Cat Shows Network

Build a vortal/portal type site with a calender, information on cat shows, cat related articles, etc. The revenue possibilities would be there in paid advertising for pet-related products if you site was well developed.

it can work. it just takes a lot of work to get the site going and into the search engines.

i think they are good names but surely cat shows are an extremly small market
