What is my best way of getting the domain? WhoIs shows that it expired on Feb 19/20.

I've added it to my keyword tools w/ Pool and will keep an eye out for it though some other drop-catchers.

What would best increase my chances of getting it? BO'ing it though everyone?

Unless it's already deleting it will land at namejet.com

Yeah I think namejet gets netsol names now...

Awesome, thank you. I just put a bid on it. Wish me luck, hopefully a parker won't get it so I can develop it.

Note that it may be desirable to place bids as late as possible before auction start.
Other users can see how many bids a name has, so your bid draws attention to a possible good name ;)

This is true...if you bid early, they send an e-mail out to all of their users with the top 80 names receiving bids...

My suggestion is to put in your bid at 7:59pm...you will still end up in a bidding war somehow no matter the name...but there will only be a handful of bidders this way.

..unless the domain has already bids, in which case make sure you don't miss the auction(maybe your internet connection will take a short break at 7:59pm :-))

Yeah, as soon as I put in the bid I thought about that. :worried:

Looking at the domain, it looks like crap and it would be only for a small niche. Hopefully it won't go into a bidding war.

Your best bet is namejet.com . Goodluck.

Namejet is has the tendency to inflate prices.

Since this is a Pre-Release domain, and if you only put in the min bid of $69, you can Remove your bid ;)

Then.... Put in a last day bid....

If there are more then one bidder, then it wouldn't matter, but if you are the only one, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Done and I made a meeting maker / reminder in outlook to remind me to bid on it. :)

Thank you for the idea.

I was the only bidder (according to them) but the domain is now pending auction?

You will get it without auction.
All domains get that "pending auction" mark.

OK, cool, thank you.

Edit: Still pending Auction at 8:18AM EST.. I'm too impacient! :)

OK, I was the only bidder and it went to pending auction.

Now, the status is "wish list"? Talk about a long & drawn out process.

This is my first purchase though NetSol / NameJet so please excuse the newbieish questions. :)

How long will it take for the domain to become "mine"? The WhoIs information shows my information but it is not in my NetSol account manager and NameJet has told me that I won it, it is in my report, and the domain information shows that it is still at NetSol?

I'd like to get the DNS changed ASAP - I despise the ads that NetSol has on the domain right now and I don't like the thought of them profiting off of their sluggishness.

NetSol will send you a email with a "New" account..... You will have to reset the password to even log into it, but you should be getting the email from NetSol as well.

No email from either. Maybe I'll contact them.

Found the reason...

Edit:

It was my mistake that was causing the holdup. I may not be crazy about the way NetSol does a lot of things and their prices but their customer service rep was extremely helpful and I had the whole thing solved within 10 minutes of the start of the call to them.

The representative I spoke to at NameJet was also extremely helpful, too. Kudos to both of them!
