The issue here is I come on to this forum to perhaps pick up some news about something.

Meanwhile, others come onto mobi threads like a bunch of little kids they are picking their nose and scratching their *** and flicking boogers simply because they can.

Makes no damn sense what so ever. If I want to come onto a forum to read about something I have a genuine interest in, I usually have pages of bullshit and stench to wade through to get to any news.

And it is always the same low life mutants and other parasites that feel they have something to add that is credible and note worthy to begin with.

One is google chat, NYTimes onlne, one is another forum, two are a site mock-up I am working on, one is dnf, the the other is a graphics package that I am working in.

If .mobi wasn't way overpriced and hyped today, I would've bought it, because at the end of the day, its the profit that matters. But you tell me yourself honestly: can you buy a keyword.mobi name today and expect to make a good profit without development, looking at the prices? As I've said before, I have a problem with this hype.

About 3 weeks ago I reg'd fannies.mobi for $8 - a week later I was offered $500 for it. So the answer to that is, yes. It wouldn't make me rich, in fact it wouldn't even cover the cost of entertaining my kids this week during their half term break, but it is a profit - 6250% profit.

BTW, the offer came prior to being developed.

Jasdon, that has happened to everyone one time or the other. I've sold some really ugly names too, but such incidents can't be used to make a generalized statement
