Hi. I got this great domain:

www.AssetSecuritization.com

It's a financial practice widely offered by banks and financial institutions worldwide.

It's got great vanity vale & a decent overture count.

This should get me a few hundred $s !! Please provide inputs.

thanks,

Arvind

Last I checked, it's not a main SBU for banks and FI's windy, but part of the broader Investment Management area.

On a web-site, it would be one of those options to click.

IMO, better to focus on the core benefit rather than the sub-sets of those benefits. Much better addressing appeal.

But if you find a specialist company, then $500+ would be a decent starting figure for them.

"Securitization" is a rather ugly word.

Much prefered would be AssetSecurity.com, or the gerund AssetSecuring.com IMO.

Windy - Here's a tip: Try searching the domain name's history at http://www.archive.org/ . You may find it helpful. Sometimes, if I see that a domain name has been 'for sale' by other resellers, I think twice about reggin' it. Why didn't it sell, I ask myself?

Yanks love their elongated words.

Securitize instead of secure

Burglarize instead of burgle.

So is a burglar practicing the art of burglarization, or is he just burgling?

Securitization? Gimme a break! It's called "Securing".

Pretty soon they won't be registering names, they'll be registizating them using a registrationator, and people here will be posting "I just registratizized blah.blah, was that a good registratinization?

The best source of new elongated gringo words is "Cops". When they interview the cops, they try to sound all official, and make up words on the spot. It's hilarizitionally funny.

Hi DDuck - Yes, I always run a check at archive.org to check on the previous owners. The check for this did'nt show anything.

This domain will sell. I have sold before & i know the formula.

thanks,

Arvind

This one was a puzzler. The time it would take me to find the ultra-specilized niche to sell this to, I would spend more wisely to pick better domain names... BUt that's just me.. Maybe Reddy has banking connections...

Ipatlas, try typing in " asset securitization" in Google.com.

There are quite a few FIs/ banks that would love to buy it. I am not asking a lot, so selling would'nt be a problem.

And to end, this is time for " ultra-specialized " domains. There are too many good- average " made up " domains expiring & becoming available now. Lot's of choice.

Only niche/ to the point/ specialized/ real names/ real world/ old economy names sell !!

My policy is invest in a domain, which you can relate to. Means something to you & a lot of others (buyers).

Just my take.
