A .Mobi Google News Beta - ..getting closer to google.mobi?

My question to Pinky Brand, was frankly, how close are we to having a Google.mobi or MSN.mobi as stand alone .mobi sites..

I mean.. they are part of the elite Dot Mobi business consortium aren't they?

As a domainer, I have been feeling that if this happened the implications for Dot Mobi with the tech world would be tremendous. Why the other backers have done it already, and not those two giants, I was wondering if the move was being planned for the future timely.
