I got the windows xp version New 8.9 Inch Eee PC 900 yesterday
These things are dirt cheap
http://eeepc.asus.com/global/900.htm
A white one!!
It is bloody brilliant
Very very good for me anyway
Stuck a HPDSA stick in one of the 3 USB available and I am surfing any place I go
Only 2 hours on 1 battery
The electric cord thing is small enough to carryin case a power point is available
Chasing a spare battery at the moment
It looks like a kids DVD player
You can drop the bloody things and the hard drive wont freeze because of the solid state drive
When will the other manufaturers wake up that not everyone wants vista with bloatware?
It came with open office rebranded
Still wondering why it included DVD software. There is no cd/dvd drive.
The minimum price Fab puts on my names on the DDN is more than enough to buy one of these
Those same names cannot attract a $20 a sale to the sharp punters on this board
