I own the Italian domain Collezionismo.com (collecting), I love collections in general and I'd like to setup a small searchengine which should cover all fields of the Italian collecting industry, this would be forever a small project with no special expectations and with a database of less than 1,000 listings, I suppose.
I've a clear idea of what I want to realise: a sort of directory which should cover all collecting fields: stamps, banknotes, coins, phonecards etc ... Anyone should be able to surf through the directory and to suggest new links which should be approved by me from a control panel before being accepted.
I've absolutely no php knowledge so my question is: how may I realise this project ? Is there any php script of this kind easy to customize (colors, fonts, backgrounds etc ...) through an user-friendly interface with no programming knowledge ?
It's an important project to me, I only need an idea about the best script to use, possible bugs and inconveniences etc ...I might also pay someone to setup it the first time but I must be sure it's really what I'm looking for, thanks for helping.
