frebase.com - reg fee - unless it got any traffic as a typo (but I bet it doesn't, does it)

Typo value is purely based on traffic, nothing else. And when looking for typos, concentrate on names with websites that get heavy traffic.

Thanks for your comments.

I am very confident on the FreeBase.com of MetaWeb. It will be something another Google.com in the next Generation of Web

I beg to differ. If you wait until you find the site is getting heavy traffic most typos (at least the very good ones) are taken. i am on on the side of veryfine. you must go with an informed educated well researched instinct.

there are perhaps only a handful of them who own citizendium typos. i own 100 plus of them. the party has just begun. when you know it you know it.

freebase will be huge. i can bet my entire portfolio on that....

well done veryfine.

You must have a lot of faith in citizendium - over 100 typos of a name that was reg'd last September and has Ovt w/o of 186...

You are one of those domainers who look for stats. someone was selling canada.net the other day and guys are asking for stats. Pleaseseeeeeee...

especially stats from 3rd party sources. yes, they are important. i make my $$$ by my business instincts. they have proven to be more valuable to me than looking for stats.

who cares about overture when i am on pace to recoup my money in 2 months.

We're talking typos here, not generic country names.

If you know of another way to value a typo other than on it's traffic / revenue, then please, enlighten me.

you are right. typos are 100% valued only for their traffic rev. my contention was, if you wait long enough to find out overture, alexa traffic and all that bull crap (which is imp anyways) the typo is taken.

those who have youtube typos did not wait for it to become a critical mass. they made an an informed investment and it paid off...
