About to hire my first full time employee -- What to keep in mind.

WoW your first employee you must be sooo excited lol..man trust me having people working for you in the start is a mess you wont gain confidence easily and they will take time adjusting ..i hate adjusting..so i don't think i will ever hire anyone ( please read never hire guys ) ..in short only hire girls! They are the best in what they do man! And Jaipur will surely have some mast girls

Hey! I am not sure if I agree with you that I should hire girls only. Both sexes have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Girls are proven to be more emotionally mature than guys, which means that they can adjust better in most situation but they can be usually more difficult to manage because of the very same thing.

I used to manage the Local Academic Marketing initiative for Microsoft in Jaipur and because of that I have indeed got experience to managing comparatively large and varied teams.

I found that while girls are excellent when it comes to sales and marketing (being emotionally intelligent sure helps you understand your customer more) but when it comes to project management, working under stressful conditions and taking instant decisions (which usually involves risk) then guys do better.

Not trying to create stereotypes and it may very well have something to do with my management style but that is what my experience is. =)
