I dont see how this is this will get type in traffic. It is 3 words. It could be good for a poker review site. Marketing will be needed.

Is this a new registration, an existing domain, or an old site? Where are you intending that the traffic will come from?
If it's just a new registration and you're hoping for type-in traffic, I don't think that's going to happen.

What is wrong with you people... do you honestly believe that in today's domain flood that you can simply buy a domain, sit back and do NOTHING and make money?

OF COURSE I plan to develop it well before parking. Just like anything else, you have to be prepared to WORK for something to increase in value.

I've not, in a long time, heard ANYONE get excited about a domain simply based on what a guy could do with it. It's always about EXISTING traffic...

You'd think there isn't going to be any MORE traffic by listening to many of the posters on the boards....

It is NOT a null sum game, for cryi' out loud.

This is not directed at these replies or anyone in particular... just the prevailing attitude that nothing that ISN'T... CAN'T

Why look for a domain on OVT with EXT? I mean, doesn't that mean that it's TAKEN? LOL!

Unless you are Mr. MoneyBags and can buy a paying domain out from underneath someone, than it's not worth doing, eh?

I'll be sure and only ask, AFTER A DOME MAKES $1000 A MONTH, what it's value is... THEN, nobody has to speculate.

But the domain is not good IMO, because it is quite long.

Thank you Owntag. I agree that it is a big long but I think that can be handled... after all, once a domain is branded and SEO'd, it's just a CLICK, right? Domain Length has less to do with a popular site than content.

I'm thinking in terms of Branding here... "Absolute Vodka", is a good example of solid branding with a longer word.

It's about Vision... Maybe you see it, maybe you don't and that's really perfectly okay. I appreciate your input.

You make the argument for developing it, yet you in the original post say that it is being parked at Fabulous. So it's worth $0 parked as is unless it gets traffic.

Any domain name is worth something if it is developed.

Good luck on your new name. Does not matter if it is long or not. If you can get some big payouts over at Fab with it now, or later...then it is very much worth it

I am really confused....You post asking for our thoughts of the domain. We give our honest opinion and you bug out. If you already know that you need to do work, why post and ask for advice?? There is obviously no traffic and no way anyone is going to type this one in. You may be excited about reggin this one, but I would not be. maybe its the alcohol talking right now but this domain is not a good reg. Good luck...but next time when you ask for opinions, take with a grain of salt. Otherwise, dont post your domain!

We were appraising the name, not the development potential. It has the same development potential as any other poker name i guess. The name itself doesn't bring any real value to the equation from what I can see. No one will ever type it in. Parked names don't get intentional repeat traffic.

First off, I apologize for my outburt. As I said, don't take it personally... it's the attitude of MANY lately that has gotten on my nerves.

It's like people have fogotten what it took to make ANY domains worthwhile.

Nothing has value unless it already has value.... C'Mon, doesn't anyone think about development and branding any more?
