Id there a way to accept an offer, after you have made a counter offer?

lets say I get an offer for XXX, and I counter offer XXXX
If the 7 day binding period has not expired from the original offer, can I now accept the original xxx offer?

Thanks!

There is no way you can do that.

:-(
I had 3 windows open, and I entered the wrong amount in the wrong window.
someone was paying a good amount for a name that I would have sold for less, and I counter offered him an amount for another domain with 10X the price...

lesson: open 1 window at a time

I just had the exact same problem! I just went in a few mins ago and make an offer to them equal to their first offer but I guess that's not binding.

isnt it terrible!
and it also might look to them that we did it on purpose, so even if you match their price, it wont work.

I wish any offer is binding for 7 days (as I originally thought) as that would take care of such errors.
you can go back and accept it.
