Very good read. I did not know it was quite that high (total sum).

This is also why many members of Congress want to tax sale on the internet.

Here in NC, we are supposed to claim all purchases on the internet so they can be taxed at the current NC sales tax rate.

All of these numbers and figures just have so many lawmakers drooling at propects of not only taxing sales on the internet but also taxing downloadable material such as songs and ringtones.

Personally, I think I pay enough of my fair share every month when I look at my phone/dsl bill and my Virgin Mobile bill when I see Federal Excise Tax and Access Charges.
