Good luck,

Hi Dimva - Are you familiar with the .pro = professional

(adoption professional)

(professional adoption services)

... feedback on adoption services development would be useful too?

Sure is familiar with .pro = professional :)
Still Reg Fee<
Good luck,
Dimva

adoption.pro fits quite well as adoption professionals often are lawyers and law firms. As I know of at least one $x,xxx dot pro sale a few weeks ago, I think you are in a good position to easily recoup your cost and then some if you develop and/or eventually sell this domain.

More dot pro sites are being developed now and so the extension will continue to grow.

Agreed!
I actually got an offer for one of my .PROs in the $xxxx and a couple of mid $xxx as well. I didn't sell 'em (yet), but it sure is a good sign.
I'd say at least low $xxxx for Adoption.pro. Best of luck!

Fundraiser - these were my thoughts as well. A NY law firm had already obtained the adoption.law.pro domain one year ago. Here's an excerpt from their site ...

We are a New York based law firm representing individuals in a practice limited to civil rights, special education, discrimination, adoption and children's law.

Thanks Properous. Good to hear you are having some interest. I like the .pro extension and where it might go. Regarding "adoption", it has rather nice overture ad rates ... $2.95/click.

i think that the extension fits perfectly ... if one is looking to adopt they would want it to be handled by a pro, but the .pro extension is not really set-up for resale i'd value it in the $$$ range, more if restrictions are lifted. good luck

I think development (a directory of adoption professionals in particular and general info on adoption) will be a good way to begin. I reg'd the name after seaching the net for related sites and trying to assess the general level of interest in adoption services.

High $xxx to low $xxxx

High $xxx or more to end user.
