Hi all,

One of my sites generated 50 ad impressions and 10 clicks today, and made no revenue? From 10 clicks?

soaduk.co.uk 50 10 20.0% USD0.00 USD0.00

How can this be?

Richard

that has never happened to me before... weird stuff

1. Public ad,
2. Suspected that you clicked yourself

1. I wondered about public ads
2. Impossible, I have looked at the site once today :-)

3. Same IP multiply clicking.

2. Impossible, I have looked at the site once today - You never know how Google assumes whose clicking. They could have a similar IP.

20 % CTR may seem odd to Google adsense as well, just a thought.

Can people try to ban other people's Google accounts by multiple clicking on ads?

Google says no, but I personally have my doubts. This has happened to me before, I wouldn't be too worried.

4. Proxy sites, which shouldn't show ads anyways,
5. Non-geographically acceptable areas, which also shouldn't be showing ads.

it has happened to me twice. now im stuck with other ad providers.

It's super easy to get somebody's adsense account banned, even without clicking on the ads!

Unlike YPN, google doesn't have a concept of "authorized domains". That means you can easily lift ANYONE's adsence code and put it on a bogus site like geocities. Add some verbage like "Help support our site by clicking on a sponsor below". Then report the site via the delivered ad.

I unfortunately, know about a dozen sure-fire ways to accomplish this as some chap was gunning for me and wiped out 6 or so different adsence accounts my LLCs, CORPs had.

Each and every time he'd email me bragging that he took me out again! I have even tried to explain this to google but it falls on deaf ears!

The only response you'll ever get from google is a canned response that doesn't even acknowledge the problem.

BTW, one site did close to $500 a DAY with adsense.

I've lost all faith in them. So much for their "Do No Evil" motto.

if the site starts to have clicks but no revenue and its a pattern you see...just simply remove the code from the site for a while...
DONT RISK loosing your adsense account just because of someones stupidity.

Yep happens to me all the time when I click on the ads my self or if a friendly IP clicks offten. Sometimes I see a nice ad and I click to see what is it about not for the $ but more to see what it has to offer however I never got paid on my clicks.. So eather you have clicked on them or someone that comes to your site offten and its clicking too much..

Cheers all the best

It surely won't be long before your adsense account is disabled then, will it?

10 clicks and no revenue:
I'd suspect your account is being looked into and payment has been suspended pending the outcome.

Better to pull off the codes from that particular site for few days. Keep your others sites have the code and check the scenario.

:-)

Highly not recommended!

system of a down i went to your site and did a mess of posting. check the date. my repeat ip might have been disqualified as "repeat" business?

check your stats.

Has some one lost the Adsense account after such no paid adsense clicks?

Once I got 2 clicks on about 100 page views, But 0 USD on my acocunt for that day.

Yes, it might be an indication that google has some doubts with your activities. And I think later Google may warn you or just suspend your account.

But don't worry. May be someone just clicked on PSA on your site :)

Yes but thats if you were clicking on ads, surely. Making lots of posts shouldn't make a difference to adsense.

I personally dont trust google.. They are sneaky and I really cant tell how they give you credit for clicks either. I tested Bidversiter on the same site and earnings show up. Google is getting harder to deal with.
