Seems that enough partners complained (or perhaps too much money going out the door!) so Google are now overturning the adult ban on the direct AdSense feed. A sensible decision for all concerned.
Google Message below:
"As you know, we at Google are constantly working to improve the experiences of advertisers, users, and AdSense partners. Based on that, we previously announced the planned sunsetting of adult domains from the AdSense for Domains program.
Today, having received further feedback from partners and advertisers, we are contacting you to announce that we will no longer be sunsetting adult domains from the AdSense for Domains program. You may continue to keep your existing adult domains in your AdSense for Domains portfolio, and add any adult domains you acquire to your AdSense for Domains portfolio.
We are committed to maintaining a positive experience for end users and advertisers, in addition to partners. We have determined that continuing to allow adult domains in the program will be beneficial for advertisers and users, and our domain partners. In the coming months, we will continue to improve our policy on the technical implementation of adult domains, but we will continue to allow adult domains in the program for the forseeable future.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding, patience, and cooperation during our policy changes.
