Affiliate Programs Adsense say my address has already been used??

Can anybody let me know what to do in this situation?

Basically applied for an adsense account, they email me to tell me my address was already registered to an adsense account.

Well I've lived at my current address for the past 3 years or so and no checks or mail ever came for anybody at this address from google.
Im guessing the previous occupant had an account though it must have been dormant for at least 3 years...

Explained all this to them and they wont budge.

Any ideas?

Have you offered to send them any kind of bill statement from that address with your name on it?

I don't really know when Google Adsense went mainstream but it couldn't possible more than 3-4 years.

I used your approach and offered to send them a bank statement. They replied that I had been accepted, without the need to fax them a bill/statement!

Are you sure they don't mean your email address?

They should not be interested in how many Accounts come from your living address.:lol:

Unless it is an apartment complex and both you and the other guy left off the apartment number.
