I recently acquired this domain. What is your honest assessment of value.

This has an 115996 overture score.

This is almost as high as pornography at 130921

.orgs seem to be bad for adult stuff. You'll have to develop it to make any money from it.

Newbie here with a question:
I got esexy.net from last night's outstanding auction. The overture results for sexy is 322260 but esexy has no results.

How does one use Overture? do you enter each word or the word combo?

Accordingly, adultpersonal shows results as 936 and (two words) adult personal as 115996.

I see auctions or comments that refer to Overture results but I am a bit confused as how the results are viewed. Opinions appreciated.

Wired for google. Two worded domains should be spaced out and both cotained with "first second" I think the number of search results is a better indicator of value for a word.

Overture is PPC. //pay per click
Google is DMOZ derived from the ODP.
And the rest of the bunch (yahoo, altavista, etc.) leach their info from either one.

Anybody that knows anything about search engines knows that DMOZ/Google is the only one that counts.

Where do you think overture gets their info from?

Their just a keyword reseller thats milks their data form the open source community.

Thats the beauty of free-enterprise.

Micro$oft is a perfect example. They've been riding the backs of the OS community for years.

I think the number of search results is a better indicator of value for a word.

I also look at that especially on google. But that's not the only indicator I look at. I keep those under lock and key

I don't care about the extension as long as it's recognized and the following are in my opinion: (COM/NET/ORG/US). The rest confuse people BIZ/INFO/WS. Believe me when you are at a trade show and passing out flyers people are like huh then they go home and type in the COM after they have thrown it away and someone else makes a sale.

But we're talking straight keywords here. So many variables here a lot which people overlook. Just wanted to see what people would evaluate it as.
