advice please...

Hi there,

I recently registered these sports domains...

IceHockeyZone.com, TableTennisZone.com, SnookerZone.com and DartsZone.com and was considering developing these domains into advertisment sites for related companies/goods etc

What would be my best option?

To Offer free advertising, and gain traffic and then sell the domain on? or....

Try and get companies to pay to advertise on my sites and make some extra revenue this way?

Any feedback on this matter would be very appreciated

I only develop for fun, but in my experience the best way to go about developing a name is to offer something of value on the site. In your case, you could put some free online related games, articles, news feeds, etc. so people will get some value from the site and visit routinely.

As far as getting advertisers to pay, you need to get some real traffic to make that a viable option these days. However, finding good affiliate programs is a great way to go because you can get some payoff with a lot less traffic. At least this has been my experience so far, I'm sure there are others on this forum who could offer better advice.
