I am curious to find out who uses escrow services in their domain name transactions. Please tell about your experiences.

(likes/dislikes, good/bad etc.)

I would also like to know if you would have an interest in using an escrow service if rates are reasonable?

If so what do you consider resonable?

What price model would you prefer? (flat fee or % of sale)

As always thanks in advance for your input.

Escrow.com! Escrow.com! Escrow.com!

I'm willing to do an escrow type deal for people doing domain sales with domains registered eNom. Seller pushes domain to my account, buyer paypals me 3% + $0.30 of transaction amount, and I pay the money to the seller and push the domain to the buyer's account (or create one for them - their choice).

Thanks to both of you for your valuable input... It would be nice if you could just answer the questions. :(

I recommend that members only use trusted escrow services, ie: escrow.com.

No offense ddent.

None taken... I probably wouldn't use me for escrow either. No big corporate backing, little reputation in the domain market.

As for experience with using escrow services, I have none. Too $$$ unless its a big transaction.

Do you want a truly shocking story?? My five (5) biggest sales were all completed using the former GreatDomain's escrow service!!
God's honest truth ... and they were both timely executed, and flawless.
Shocking, in retrospect. Have a great day.
Good Luck.

I have completed 15 domain name transactions on escrow.com (both buying/selling)...no problems whatsoever.

Escrow.com , most professional, fast, reliable, great support..
