Those are 1:1000.000 chances that you find one that wants exactly that name and neiter the guy that has the .com or .net wants to sell for less than any of those prices.. I think any offer over 400 is worth taking

so, just out of interest, do you think NFL.info would be worth those prices?

that depends..NFL (like AFL) if you use for anything with football is a Trademark violation and you will lose the domain as they are very aggresive in protecting their trademark, so you can only use for national football unrelated things..but to answer you question, nfl.info would be worth more, just because its 100 times bigger than the AFL.., not sure if it would be worth 5k since its still a .info, but for nfl.info I am sure you could get 1-2K in an auction rather easy

Yeah, I was beginning to think reading this thread that people appraising were blind to the fact that a .info could sell for $xxxx, which is ridiculous. This is a very nice .info. I wouldn't part with it to a reseller for under $800, and I do think a figure of even high $xxxx is acheiveable witrh some patience to the right buyer.

yes, if they have a trademark on "AFL" in the category football you are in violation because you are trying to benefit from their brand, but since its a very short acronym and can stand for a lot it will be difficult, but def. possible, I just checked, and they do have a trademark on AFL.
