Afternic and escrow.com team up: The Trailing Edge

News that Aftersh** and escrow.com are teaming up is only about three years too late, and something that many of us encouraged Michael Tippett to do when things started to go south. Once again, Afternic proves to be on the trailing edge, ignoring all wisdom and common business sense.

Poor escrow.com: Such a good company, now subject to the ferocious tempers of Afternic haters. lol

Iagree - about 3 years too late. Poor Escrow.com. I wonder if they know what they are getting themselves into?

Also, I wonder if the price structure will be the same as Escrow.com's current structure, or if there will be additional fees if you are entering a transaction via LAFTERnic. I guess time will tell.

There are always newbies who do not know any history of afternic. If afternic does improve, won't you re-join?

To put a finer point on this, just spoke to my high-ranking friend at escrow.com and they are viewing this as an arm's length deal simply to provide escrow services as they would to anyone else. They know Register.com stinks, and don't want to be associated with any of the stink.

My advice to her: Be careful. Be very careful...
