I mainly just want to test the waters on selling on DNforum.com. I'm not looking for a small fortune on this one. Just to recover some development costs.

I have PRinformer.com. It is powered by a unique pr checker script using ajax to make the query rather than just making the user sit there while you check PR. A major benefit of using AJAX for this, is you can easily tell if a particular data center is holding up the process and remove it. Any other multiple DC PR checker will just hang and the user will get frustrated and leave. I currently have it running 73 data centers, but it is simple to add or remove data centers as you like. The design is unique as well, and will not be resold. You will receive the PSD of the logo with the purchase.

The site was posted on the 11th, the template was finished on the 22nd. On that day, I posted it a couple times on DP and since then it has received an average of of 80 visitors a day with a high of 115 and a low of 32. The traffic is pretty steady, but I'm not going to guarantee a steady flow of traffic to the buyer.

I'm open to all offers. This is an auction, there is no BIN yet. Auction will run for 4 days or until I see an offer I can live with.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will answer promptly and honestly.

Anything above $50 I feel would be fair to me.

Hi

Auctions are not allowed in this section.

You can accept offers, or include a BIN (Buy it Now) Price.

Thanks for your cooperation!

My apologies.

Where would I post an auction?

And I'll post a BIN of $100 for the site, script, and source files.

AJAX stands for Asynchronous JavaScript And XML.

It is a technology, or rather combination of technologies, that allow websites to update with information, without reloading the entire page.

The benefit in using AJAX in a PR Checker is that if you visit a site that does not use AJAX, like this one, you are left sitting there for 15 seconds until the page is displayed.

Alternatively, using AJAX like on PRinformer, you are instantly able to see the PR returning as it is queried from the data centers.

This is important because there is a good chance that someone is not going to wait 15, 10 or even 5 seconds to get results. It sounds silly, sure. But I'm just going off of what I do myself.

Someones concern might be that not 100% of internet users have a JavaScript enabled browser. However, what is important here is that 100% of the people viewing your AdSense ads have JavaScript enabled, and these are the people you are targeting.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

In addition to the pr0 error, the site does not work in Firefox 1.5.0.2, even with all javascript options enabled. Even so, I'll offer $50 as-is.

Thanks HSN. I wasn't aware of the PR0 error, I'll look in to that. Interestingly enough, I am using FF 1.5.0.2. an it works fine for me an numerous others. I have had a few other people using 1.5.0.2 that it hasn't worked with as well though.

If anything, I will include the non-AJAX version as well. I'm a bit busy with other projects at the moment though, so it will be a little while before I get to it.

I'll BIN .. But if you could fix the error I'd appreciate it.. If you can't I'll have it done but would like to avoid the extra work if possible.

I've checked sites without PR and sites with PR. The results are accurate but at the end of a "run" the error comes up, and as well the same error comes up when checking sites without PR. I'm using IE6 and my settings are all good.

As well I checked on a domain I have with some light PR.. www.http.ws has small PR but for some reason the image wont come up which displays the PR rank. Other .ws domains do work though. As often as I've tried the image wont come up with that one domain.

The error at the end reads:

Detailed Description of XML Parse Error:

Error Code: -1072896683
File Pos: undefined
Line: 2
Line Pos: undefined
URL:
SRC Text: <b>Notice</b>: Undefined index: 73 in <b>/var/www/vhosts/prinformer.com/httpdocs/index.php</b> on line <b>13</b><br />

Contact me, I'll be here again at 5pm eastern.

Sold at BIN!

Thanks.

Kevin.
