Osaka is Japan's third-largest city, with a population of about 8 million people.

Why on earth do you appraise absolutely everything as "reg fee"? I don't think your appraisal is relevant. I invite other members to see appraisals made by "Rockafeller" in Appraisals by Peers section and you will see that he appraises almost every domain at reg fee. I think you should disregard his "appraisals" when making decisions about specific domains.

I invite all other members to take a look at your thread history. Just about every domain name that you post is worthless. Quit wasting your money.

You are asking value for your domain.
Many post do not even get reg. fee reply.
If you can not take negative appraisals, do not ask for one on public forum.
Just say "Thank you".
If your domain is worth $10K and "Rockafeller" said "reg. fee", then,
other members will defend you :)

Before you point your finger to "Rockafeller", did you know that
you can NOT post for appraisals more than 2 within 24 hours?
It's called SPAMMING.

I am sorry, I didn't know that. But then, why does the system allow to post more than 2 threads for appraisal within 24 hours? It doesn't allow to post more than 1 thread within 24 hours in e.g. Fixed price or Offers wanted sections. Perhaps admins should change Appraisals section so that nobody can post more than 2 domains for appraisal.

Reference my reaction to Rockafeller's "appraisals", I have reviewed his appraisals of other domains and I have found that he appraises almost all and every domains at "reg fee" or "low $xx" at the most. Thus my negative reaction. I believe you should disregard a good part of his appraisals.

Note also his "slogan" right under his user name: "Competition is a sin". He would feel wonderful without competitors, wouldn't he? ;)

I am not the most experienced domainer in the forum. However, by my observation of the domains since 2002, here are a few tips on domains that are worth more than "regfee"

1. Generic names
2. Nouns (rather than adjectives)
3. Try to avoid combinations (e.g. "my", "all", "e", "extra", "super"..etc). Sometimes they can be good, e.g. freecash , however, most of the time these extra words render the domain worthless.
4. Even for generic terms, there are many of them that are so unheard-of that they are as good as worthless
5. Avoid numbers, if you can help it
6. Unless the domain name is really popular or meaningful, usually any name>12 letters are close to regfee.

I hope these tips will help with your future domain registration selection, cooldomain. Good luck!

First of all, I appraise useless/worthless domains for regfee. Most domain names in the appraisals section are either newbies with crap domains or experienced domainers showing off.

Also, its not my "slogan', its a quote.

Yes, everyone registers crap domains. Except for ... ROCKAFELLER. :greensleep:

This "quote" seems quite informative;). You would feel better without competitors ;).

Negative reg fee. Nuffink. Zilch. Now you're going to take out an atlas and register all[insertcity].com domains? If you did but know it, there are a few people here doing you a favour.

As a developed established website with a clear theme to it - some worth - as it is - regfee.

And what's with the multiple appraisal threads? Put them all in one post. You are polluting the forum.

John Rockefeller was quoted many, many times in all of his biographies as saying, "Competition is a sin." Rockefeller built his entire empire on that concept. Competition was a sin. Free enterprise was a sin. Why compete? Why cut each other's throat? He took the strongest of his competitors and brought them with him. He made them partners in his ventures. The weaker competitors he brought in as stockholders. The ones who wouldn't cooperate he crushed. That's the building of monopoly, not competition.

i suggest you dont post every single brain-fart domain you reg and complain about the value, you really thinking regging a nonsense domain will make you rich with no work overnight, if a domain is not taken yet, there is a reason for it,

Nobody is going to, but many people type in AllNewYork.com, AllChicago.com etc. As Osaka is a giant city (a bit less than NY), AllOSaka.com seems reasonable.

allnewyork.com is a undeveloped parked page. Not sure about traffic but I doubt there is much there.
