Dude! It's more than 11 years old and has a valid Google PR6 (!!!).

Easily pronounceable ('Alf' like in alpha), decent amount of Google returns, passes the phonetic test IMO.

Just the name itself, $3k-$5k, but if you also consider the PR6 and the age.. $xx,xxx. If it gets a lot of traffic and revenue .. Who knows.. I love it. If you paid less than $3k for it, I wouldn't have sold for less than $1x,xxx. Good luck.

Edit: I see it redirects to alpheus dot com, which I assume was located on alph dot com previously. You should park it and see what the traffic looks like. :)

"In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
a stately pleasure-dome decree,
where Alph, the sacred river, ran
through caverns measureless to man
down to a sunless sea . . ."

(poem: The Ballad of Kubla Khan, by Samuel Taylor Coleridge):)

Also sung by Rush - always wondered where they got that :-)

Nice name! Low - mid xxxx for the name alone

Rush? You mean, Frankie Goes to Hollywood - "Welcome to the Pleasure Dome".

How is it possible to give an end-user estimated appraisal? :) What you can ask for depends on the buyer's need and funds. End-user $x,xxx-$xx,xxx-$xxx,xxx IMO.

I am not in position to appraise the name but traffic rank does not seem to be valid. It actually displays traffic rank which belongs to alpheus.com but it still seem a good name

45, mostly into 60's/70's music, but also a fan of 80's music, including Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Good stuff. Saw the Xanadu in there, instantly thought of Rush. Heard both songs a milion times or so, now going to have to listen to them both tonight :-) . Might even have 2112 in the car.

Edit:

Rush's Xanadu:

"To seek the sacred river Alph
To walk the caves of ice
To break my fast on honey dew
And drink the milk of paradise" and so on..

And the poem includes the "dining on honeydew"
