Interesting that the consumer association says that they are under no obligation until a contract has been made. From my shop keeping days I believe the following is true.

- The Internet page is an offer to treat.
- The submission of a credit card is an offer
- The amount entered is a consideration
- The actioning of a charge on the credit card is an acceptance.

When this sequence has been completed then surely a valid contract has been entered into by both parties.
