Seems to be a subdomain of mLogic, the development company that also did Paramount's site, but I believe it's because it's intended to be accessed through ATT/Cingular's portal. AT&T customers can also buy and download ringtones, participate in contests and chat with contestants. All others can read show summaries, contestant bios, etc.

I don't think we will need to tip them off.

They have probably made this site to make it easier to claim the name back when they sue whoever owns it

Ive got foxidol.mobi, amidol.mobi, and idolonfox.mobi. No trademarks or wordmarks on any of them. I think the only one that really has to worry is the guy in Alabama that registered "AmericanIdol.mobi"

idolonfox and foxidol do have major TM problems. just because there isnt a registered trademark filed with the uspto for that exact phrase does not mean that you are not infringing on their TM rights. when you combine the words fox and idol into the same word then its trouble. fox by itself is not a TM since it is an animal and idol by itself is not a TM.
