I've just acquired Amsterdam dot Org

It's been bought for development, but i'm interested in hearing your opinions on value.

PR4
Wordtracker: 4375 per day (estibot)
Google adwords tool: 20,400,000 average searches per month 2,740,000 - local search volume in July.

Thanks for your opinions.

Nice name. I'll say $10-12K.

Congrats on the great domain! I would think around 25-30K undeveloped.

The .info is #4 in Google, so you should be able to jump them and tap into all that search engine traffic.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Sadly i don't think it'll be that easy to jump over the .info. They've been around for a while and are PR7 - still i have a few tricks up my sleeve :-)

should?

why?

Awesome name and IMHO one of the top 20/30 cityname.tld to own.
Unquestionably! Not to mention one of the must see and experience places in the world.

Well. I have owned quite a few country/city.net/.org names and was following the reseller market trend for a while... From the reseller/domainer point of view and we are usualy not talking en-user prices here in the appraisal section - I would say mid x,xxx is the best and real price name for this city.org doamin. Good luck with it!

you have to develop it instead of selling it here

People are saying 6 figures on another forum which is not accurate imo.

Reseller: $8,000 - $16,000
End user: $25,000 - $50,000

Anyone have a price list of major geo's in dot org that have sold?

If you're interested in selling today shoot me a PM.

illinois.org $31,000 (2008)
us.org $45,000 (2008)
asia.org $30,000 (2008)
moon.org $5,020 (2007)
ohio.org $30,000 (2006)
america.org $20,000 (2005)

That's all I could find but there must be more.

Yes, @ Moniker T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Live Auction 2008
I wonder who's the lucky one to snap that bargain.
Amsterdam.org - high $xxxx undeveloped.
Get it developed and get great traffic with it.
Should be easy to get it high SERP ranks in Yahoo for its keyword value.
Google? Around 1,2 month you can get it in the first page. (.com is not that SEO optimised and can still get first page )

20k +
Nice domain!
