AtRiskSpecies.net
AtRiskSpecies.org
This is a worldwide topic. Save the whales ... Save the tigers ... Reintroduce wolves ... Protect the wetlands ... People care about it. So do I, but I don't have time to develop them yet.
This phrase is actually better than "Endangered Species" because that's a technical designation applied by a committee. And which species are labeled as "endangered" changes all the time. "At Risk Species" is more stable long term, involves more animal species, and doesn't require lots of splitting hairs and updates.
The best use of this site is probably as a network of eco-friendly charities and causes.
It's not as lucrative an area as malpractice (see my fixed-price thread). Still, you can probably monetize a website with videos, books, T-shirts, etc. enough to cover time and effort. There are probably millions of animal lovers in the world. After all, who doesn't like a tiger -- apart from the guy getting devoured, that is?
