Announce.name & Publicize.name

Thought these two identity based .name's might have good potential.

Tell me what you think they're worth.

Interesting that you would appraise at ZERO, given that you willingly purchased, not one, not four, not ten, but TWENTY names in this extension. I'd have imagined that purchasing 20 names (as you only use the extension as the criteria) would mean they were at least worth $7-$10 each for the names your have. Interesting dichotomy.

Just because I bought .name does not mean the value of the domain equals the amount payed. Sample 1111s1s1s1s11s1s1s1s11s1s.com cost 7.25 As you can see this domain name has no value. If you think a domain name value has something to
do with purchasing one well i am sorry to be the one to inform you. It does not.
Value come's from usefullness of the domain name or type in or ppc income. I happen to have very high quailty .name keywords with a large presents in google and overture
in light of that there still worth zero

Mm, hm. Worth/value. Maybe you're thinking too much here. Were I to own 20 .bz names (which I don't), and told someone that their "computer.bz" was worth "zero" (not "reg fee" but "ZERO"), I would give myself a sidewards glance. :) At the very least I would point to the keyword as the damning factor (noting that all my names have much better keywords regarding the extension). I think its worth distinguishing "reg fee" from "zero value", if for no reason than clearing up any questions regarding relatively low value appraisals.

Also, personally I think purchasing .name's according to OVT and Google values alone would be a misguided approach. According to the requirements, at the very least, they need to refer to a fictional character or alias or risk a challenge. I have a little cartoon puppy named "Nexus". My plan is to add two more characters to my mascot grab bag.

Addendum: 1111s1s1s1s11s1s1s1s11s1s.com is not registered. If it were, apparently it was worth reg fee for somebody (unless they got it for free or the purchaser was using the name as a "test"). I believe there are times when a registered name is not worth "reg fee", but usually it involves the cases above, or the buyer was working off of bad information when making the purchase.

Announce.name & Publicize.name both have good potential, agreed.

low - mid $xx for each of these one word, dictionary .name's. Both seem to suggest a marketing/PR slant to their possible usage.
