I'm thoroughly and sufficiently peaved...

Today, SnapNames went down during the last 45 Minutes of their Auction period... The blackout resolved about 15 minutes after the day's auctions ended.

I assume that I was one of about a million people that promptly pointed that fact out to them but something very interesting happened... They reset the Auctions that had ended.

First 2 hours... then reset for 2 DAYS... then reset again for 24 hours...

And for some reason... the GREAT names were never part of that reset!!!

I've been emailing them all day about it and why they feed me platitudes about being fair to everyone, they conveniently fail to list a couple of domains I had bid on and I see them now registered by them until 2007!!!

I got this nice little email from them saying that unfortunately, the winning bidder's payment had been processed and there was nothing they could do. Problem is, it went down when everything else did... alll but TWO of the auction on which I was the high bidder were reset when they came online again... Those two domain are now showing as property of SnapNames on Whois, reg'd today, exp 2007

Something :censored: STINKS.

Looks and feels like "Friend helping a friend" or "Secret Ivory League Transaction".

Sorry to hear that Scott.

Just got an E-mail from Snap saying they have suffered a DDOS attack.

So why are all the domains they DON'T want being taken care of while they ones they've added to their own portfolio NOT being taken care of?

Simple Question.

wow that really does stink....it certainly sounds like s.n. is corrupt or at the very least, very much so motivated by its own personal interests. :worried:
