I happened to see the free domain information today.

I guess more people want to know about it.

Last year, everyone can register 25 .info domains. This year, you can only register 5 domains.

Not bad for development, but the free or low cost info program sure knocked the heck out of the secondary sales rise that was going on earlier.

I think 1and1 is eating the cost for customer acquisition. Personally dealing with them isn't worth the free headache.

I agree 1000%!
Had the misfortune of renting a server from them about 1.5 years ago. I should have known better.

100% agree. Nice LOOKING interface, but SLOW as hell and makes no sense whatsoever. Spent an hour trying to figure it out one day -- couldn't do it. And I have many years experience in interface design! Not worth the hassle.

Only in the USA and Canada. Damn. They don't have the offer on their UK site either. :(

But yeah it's 1and1 so I'd rather find another registrar with this offer, are there any?
