Interested in feedback on hostway.com's offer of $6.95 to reg .com etc, no strings attached, no need to buy hosting.
I already know that I need to use a separate user id for each domain because they don't have a push function. A bit of a hassle.
But they do have free URL forward and I think I can alter the DNS too.
Is it really just $6.95 with no need to deposit ?
Would the buyers in the DNF be happy to take ownership of a domain with hostway?
I can't see any mention of transferring domains to them.
Maybe I will ask them about that.
Of course they don't mention transferring domains out, but it is normal to keep quite about that option.
Any comments appreciated, because I don't want to get stung like happened to some of us with iregistrations
