In few hours of bidding (ends Feb 8,2004 at 16:15) there have been 42 bids. Current bid is $10500. Pool is laughing all the way to the Bank.

AOL should come up with a HUGE offer and get it (if they are in the auction at pool in the first place).

Hey URLtrader, why would AOL want it?

That would be an expensive typo for AOL.

But, since they probably will get back a few dollars as a refund
on Super Bowl Half Time. Maybe, they can afford it.

It is now up to $ 12,000 with 45 bids.

Duke must have placed his bid. (Just kidding.):-D :-D

Because they can afford this name. It could be considered as a typo and an abbreviation of america online messenger. And whatever they pay for this domain can be claimed as business expense for tax purpose. In other words - a free domain.

Personally, I think it's a better domain than DiscountDrugs.com which sold for over 30K!

If that domain was sold for 15k them i might be rich in a few days
Im going to buy a really good .com for $450 (if everything works as it should) and i think it's worth $10 000 maybe more (more if it was on pool.com)

Hmmm... not so sure, drugs are a huge business, and online discount drugs are even bigger. Perhaps a limited time frame for online health services, but a massive opportunities while it lasts...

I look at the price of commercial advertising and can only say to the right persons the traffic alone is a bargain. If you consider there are 17,576 3 letter dot coms available in the entire world and many of them like qjx.com are quite ghetto, someone is buying some nice beachfront property for a song................

Someday maybe the static advertising world will realise how long people stare at computer screens as well as the TV ads. ...................................................

I hope i will get the domain name im after, i think the prices on 3 letter .com will be alot more expensive in the future. More and more people are invetsing in domains and many develop sites om the domain.
So i hope i can make som desent money from the domain name. The transaction is almost finished

I'm looking forward to checking these numbers in 2 months. They will inevitably plunge drastically, although I'm guessing there'll be a remnant there representing something somewhat nice. Always easy to overlook that the amount of searches increases dramatically during droptime.

Few months ago I bought two domains, each for less than $500. Today if I get offer of $5000 for each of those domains I would politely refuse. Some of the sellers are either desperate for cash or do not know how valuable domains they are sitting on. One persons junk could be diamond for other.
