Is this a complete waste of money? Obviously there are lots of trademark issues, but is registering this domain a mistake?

Not to mention the double "-"

If it is still within the few days most registrar's allow you to "taste" your domains, I would delete it and get your money back.

You'd run the risk of getting a C&D letter if there's content on it, and you'd have to give the domain to apple. You're unlikely to get any trouble if there's no content on it.

My advice: cancel the domain, or at least don't put any content on it (especially no content related to apple!) and let it expire.

alright, so i've set it up with a sedo parked page - how about if i just leave it until the domain expires in a year? is that a bad idea?

I still personally would just leave it as a blank page. Apple is known to be very protective of their trademarks... well except the ones they don't own yet. hehe "iphone"

Short answer. delete it.

Depending on who you regged it with you may be able to delete it and get some of your money back mate! This you should do, don't go contacting apple or anything like that because it's an obvious TM breach or be it a potential one! Less than reg fee IMHO

$0 - but do you have any stats for the domain? Has it seen any traffic at all (other than yours)?
