Welcome to the forum.

I like your idea of trying to find a credit card or “apply for” domain. That is a great idea and a solid site in the sector can pay off well.

With respect to the domain, .cc is a very weak extension and there are many one-word .cc domains that do not sell for much, so there would be little inherent value.
