Please give me your appraisal of saw6.com
My plan is to develop a you tube like site (whenever I get time), but would like to get an idea on the domains worth before I start developing.

Stats for the past few months are:
July 1102 visits
August 1244 visits
September 368 visits

Thanks in advance!

Hard to put a price on it, but I'd definitely hold on to it. Saw 5 is coming out soon, and you could be seeing a lot of traffic, especially since the creators of Saw like to put out teasers way in advance of their movies. Something developed, marketing to that niche (horror movies) would probably be the most lucrative.

I think it's hard to give an appraisal...since who knows if saw 6 comes out.

But, if you're getting that many visits per month. You can easily develop a small site and talk about the prior saw movies...Either by making a forum...or something of that nature.

A speculative buy for anyone now ..but i'd put in a range from mid $xxx to high $xxx reseller.

Saw 6 already has an IMDB listing. No info, but hey, if it's in IMDB.. ;) I wonder if they're going to go with a title change at some point or just keep churning out more Saw movies.

Personally, I'd just sit on it until an offer comes. I like it, I'd buy it now.

Thanks Varlin, Jonathon, theinvestor for your opinions.
I will probably just let it sit for a couple more months before developing and see what happens. I've had several low ball offers, one $1000 offer, and one $2500 offer on it. I countered all of them with a higher price, but most said that what they offered was as high as they could go.

I think 2500 is pretty good, because monetizing movie traffic isn't always real profitable. But maybe you can get more because it does seem to get good stats, I'd expect a huge jump right after Halloween (when Saw 5 comes out). Then it will drop, and slowly start to pick up again.

you will get a low ball offer from some chick representing Lionsgate.
After you refuse, they will go with something like - sawsix.com or saw-6.net
they or this girl have no idea about direct navigation.
good luck, they may have learned about WIPO in the past few years.
