just to note, islam is the world's second largest religion, and with islam.com having been sold for over a million dollars if i'm not wrong.

Although hypenated, it still does appears in a resonably amount of searches. Can be developed for religious specified community/group. I ask for your opinions on its value. I can see that quite a no. of people are going for popular, hypenated terms like b-u-s-i-n-e-s-s, or a-r-t for their domain names as well.

i kinda agree with you. not to say that hypenated words are totally of no value if compared.

take for instance,

a-r-t.com well, doesnt that look abit 'artisticly' used? of course the words value drops, much like generic terms, as it gets longer.

would you say b-u-s-i-n-e-s-s.com, or s-a-l-e-s.com will not sell too compared to its counterparts? i doubt so. whats your opinion?

regfee, i think hyphen names are only worth it to separate 2 words like new-york or hong-kong, not to put in between each letter.
