Of course there is a risk that the value will diminish....happens to real property....stocks...commodities...etc. That said, no one knows for sure when the market will peak. If you need the bread sell it for $250k, if not hang onto it. Either way, you're sitting pretty!! good luck

Biggest risk with 2 letter domains is their ownership history...

From all indications, YB.com did NOT drop, and furthermore was, and still is, registered at Network Solutions...

So why would the bank sell it? ... perhaps it's all on the up and up - ie. they went of business, changed names, no longer needed it, etc.

With all that said, IF the domain ownership is clear, then I'd say low to mid 6-figures would be reasonable ... think brands like "Yellow Book", etc.
