There is currently a closed doors expiry auction for a premium JamesBond.extension domain name. Could the winner face legal problems if he win the auction?

Is the risk too high just to land this nice domain?

Would appreciate some insight.

Thanks.
Luc

James Bond is a tm.
So is Tarzan, Spider-Man etc.

I think James Bond is TM.

James Bond is a TM.

Bidders 29 High Bid $80

I'm sure this is not the last bid in spite of TM.....

Cheers guys for the feedback. Going to give this one a miss for obvious reasons.

Will probably go for high $xxx to low $x,xxx

It's your the domain on auction?
If yes good luck with the sale!

He said he was "going to give it a miss", meaning he's not going to bid on it, meaning it isn't his domain.

Oh, and yes, yes James Bond is heavily trademarked and they protect that mark quite aggressively.
