Hi

I often jump in to see some appraisals here and always wonder how you guys realy make your appraisals...

I mean not those who's joking ...
But those whos trying to make a "pro" appraisal.
Let me know how you do it.

Thanks

All is matter of opinion really. Sometimes people appraise it on what they would pay for it.

Some people go by the length and if its catchy and so on, but the appraisals you get hear are different from the "Pro" appraisals companies would give you.

For an ex.

I had a domain that I had a company do an appraisal for. They appraised it at $37,000.00 .. other forums appraised it at $100 - $300.00

get me

The validity of appraisals here for me is based on the experience of the members and also their personal opinions, to be honest I would sit more comfortably with an honest appraisal from an experienced member here than any appraisal service I had to pay money for.....just my opinion.

There aparrently are certain clear issues, like 3-4 letter domains, .com domains, single significant words, high overture words. I am fairly new at this, but I seem to gain a lot from the users output. When there is logic behind their appraisals it helps significantly.

i usually try to appraise based on what i would pay or what ive seen similar domains go far to an end user. I think those pro appraisals can be really bogus sometimes.
