This isn't really a dictionary word, even though it seems as if it might be a tense of a verb 'article.' There isn't such a verb, unfortunately, at least not in my dictionary. I suppose there could be said to be a precedent for coining such a verb in the same way as American English has coined 'authoring' for 'writing' (as in writing a book).

The word 'article' has other meanings in English for which such a verb would make no sense. Since an 'article' is an item, for example, would 'articling' be making an article. But there are so many better words, I don't think this would ever catch on. There is also a word 'articled,' as in the term 'articled clerk' for a trainee solicitor (an English lawyer). But I think you might be out of luck on this one. :(
