Just saw this accepted and my hairs stood up - someone clipped it at 50k.

If I had the cash, I would totally pay down for this. Is this the biggest steal ever or what?

Well, even it is a net, we are talking about a domain for a continent. It should worth more in my opinion. I agree with RichInCollege, 50k is a big steal for such a domain.

It's a definite steal! Wasn’t a right place and time for a seller... 150k-180k IMO

It was a good price, but the name is just OK imo, I believe it to have very low traffic, plus it's a .net

Sometimes names can just be TOO generic..and you will always give the .com free traffic when you develop it, which is what they basically paid 50k to do.

Why is everyone down on .net's? From a SEO standpoint they are as good as a .com really, the keywords in the domain are what matter.

Come on.. it's a .net and too generic to develop into a business
it's an ok price. Not every good .net is a pizza

Chinese net $180,000 Aug 07 Sedo

... "asia" is much better than "chinese", and more potential end-users

IMO this is a $150k+ name. I think it sold at an amazing bargain. Yes, .net's may be under-appreciated, but not that under-appreciated.

hi there,
I agree that it was a good deal, we have implemented the .asia.com in our Backend. So the business case for us on the .asia.net is pretty simple.
