The 2 year reg fee today is $139.98 at Godaddy. Trademark number and one contact in Asia required.

That's too much to pay isn't it ?

The price is not too bad, as there are still the sunrise periods you pay currently an application fee (which is not refundable in case you don't get the domain). If you don't have a trademark anyway wait till February 2008, then you will get much lower prices as well. If you have a trademark and do business in the Asian-Pacific region then it's worth to spend the money.
