How can i remove ASK.com from my computer?

example,

if i type dnforum.com as dnnnforum.com - it directs me to ASK.com - since the domain name i mistyped does not exist. So my firefox freezes for several seconds and forwards to ASK.com

i can't find the source or way to get this stupid company out of my computer!

And while you're at it, uninstall their toolbar if you find it in add/remove programs.

If that doesn't work, it may be your ISP is redirecting 404s.

comcast directs to there search engine, but the lagging part... lol, get a new computer

i have a super fast computer, the lag is caused by ASK!
