You're at a domain conference in Las Vegas, and you overhear the following exchange in the hotel lounge:

DiversifiedDomainer: "So, DotCommie Dictator, what do you believe is the best and most important tld?"

DotCommie Dictator: "Why, assuredly, .com!"

:pound:

Glad I got that out of my system.

Assuredly.com. Currently #4 of 7,430,000 on Google. What'ya say for end user appraisal? Any other thoughts? Thanks.

:couch2:

A few thousand. Anything that is an actual word is worth money. It is probably more of a novelty name, but it stands out over most of the other names that are floating around....most of which take serious liberty with the language.

Pokers anyone? Maybe I'll buy some real estates with my winnings.

See, I got that out of my system as well.

Good name...but I don't think you will ever get a huge amount.

Thanks, WDD. Those "realestates" really crack me up, too. :bounce:

Can this one tie well into the same kind of assurance.com/insurance industry connection? (Just noticed that one has a green GK page, too - not mine.)

What other uses does anyone think would be popular?

:fish2:

$25-$100 is my appraisal

assuredly has ovt of 200 without extension and that's very low

Also it's an ackward word to say.

I assure you its worth less than $200...

As was mentioned above...its a rare and unusual word.

Agree here. It doesn't signify anything recognizable on its own ... and a meaningful association must be made for the name to have value. Not saying it couldn't be branded, but one would have to promote the name in order for users to know what they might find on the site.

Yes, its one word but not a great word. All of the other extensions aren't taken, which says something. Still, it's a one word .com so probably worth xxx to low xxxx at best right now.

As I mentioned earlier, it has value because it is a word...more like a collectors item, which beats many of the things I see that aren't even words. It would be tough to really brand it, but it should go up in value....because it is a word.

People are collecting number-letter combinations that aren't exactly practical, and most of the three-letter names that aren't dotcom fall into the same category because if you turned those names into great sites you would lose a lot of traffic to the dotcom. The point is that there is value out there for names that don't have a lot of practical applications.

Hope it works for you. Just hold it and try to get lucky down the road. You could also contact all of the alternate extention owners. They would likely be interested.
