I don't really see any value in this name as a .biz. .com maybe because it is short but there really isn't a big Attn market out there. It would take a lot of marketing to push a site with this name.

I agree with you for the moment, but let's not forget that a few years ago nobody believed a .com domain name could be sold for $ millions....and now it did.I can tell you that , a few years from now, there will be .biz domain will worth the same amount (ok, maybe not attn.biz ;)

Hmm......well if you want to continue to re-reg the name go ahead but just a bit of advice from someone that has been doing this since 98. You're better off buying one good name than regging 50 crappy ones.

No offense, but the logic above will lead you to have a whole collection of the latter.

The bottom line is that in a couple of years there will probably be a few more TLDs and .biz will always be second rate if not worse.

The bottom line is that in a couple of years there will probably be a few more TLDs and .biz will always be second rate if not worse.

Something to remember though, There is nothing wrong with second rate as long as it's usable and you sell in the range it can succeed. Used cars are second rate to new ones, but there's a lot of money made in the used car business. Fords are second rate to Jaguars, and Dodges are second rate compared to Mercedes, but they are still viable markets at their fair market price. There is nothing wrong with a good .biz or .info name if you know the price the market will bear (probably less than $200) There are lots of good unregistered new TLD names out there, unlike dot-com if you can find them. I'd rather have a dozen good .biz or .info than one crappy .com.

Unfortunately, I don't think attn.biz is one of the good ones, unless I just don't understand the business of "attention". I believe the abbreviation for attorney would be atty, not attn. Attn, probably wouldn't even be a good .com domain. I'd just shoot for recooping your reg fee.

In .biz, I'd stick with real one or two word very common business or names that could be used as business directories or places of business. For example, I've picked up exterminating.biz, clevelandohio.biz, salesmen.biz, and wrecker.biz. I also have a general rule that I buy no .biz unless the .com/net/info are registered AND at least two are deveped sites (not just PPC).Since prices are lower, you need to be much pickier in .biz than other TLD's.

That's funny.
Actually in the pre 2001 buble bursting of the '.coms' , quite a few domains sold for more than they would today...
During 98-end 2000 I sold more domains for more profit margin than the last 2 years.

Thank you guys for your comments and advice.
I bought several .biz domains with development in mind(MediaContact,GreenWave, ArtCreations, PhotoWorkShop, VideoFX,Snape, KidVision) and another few of them "at risk"-if I can sell them, that's OK, if not, let them be :bandit:
However, I did check to see if the other 4 important TLD's(.com,.net,.us,.org) were taken -and they are.
